Bike Loaner

The bicycle loaner committee is responsible for acquiring and maintaining more than forty yellow bikes provided free of charge to visitors and residents from “bike stations” around the City.  TEAM’s bicycle loaner program was instituted in 2010 as a collaborative effort between TEAM, the City of Punta Gorda, local businesses and individuals who provide funding for the program.  It provides an enjoyable “ride” to more than 5,000 riders a year from these participating locations: Sheraton Four Points and Springhill suites by Marriott will be back open on January 28th.  Due to the two hurricanes, we have had to buy new bikes and refurbish the ones we could salvage.  Thank you for your patience while we we organized our program.
