Successful Spring 2024 TEAM Punta Gorda Golf Scramble
Golf Scramble Chair Betsy Spagnolo shares an enthusiastic report on TEAM’s April 13, 2024, annual golf outing at St. Andrews Golf Course:
“This perennially successful fundraiser helps raise money for TEAM to continue to be able to do many wonderful projects in our community.”
“TEAM volunteers are an important part of any successful event,” she explained. “I would like to compliment those who worked by my side at the scramble. Another event well done.”
The enthusiasm of the players and volunteers was overwhelming, and the weather was perfect. The morning was busy registering players, having breakfast and receiving promotional items from community sponsors. It was a shotgun start and they were ready to play.
At the finish of play, the golfers returned for lunch, awards, 50/50, door prizes and raffles. Betsy Spagnolo added, “Working with St. Andrews and their staff was a joy, helping to make the event run smoothly. A big thank you goes to all who attended and worked.”
