Gilchrist Park Playground Enhancement
Team Punta Gorda is accepting tax-deductible donations for enhancement of the Gilchrist Park playground. The playground’s much-needed renovation is projected to be competed by the end of 2016. The Punta Gorda City Council has allocated funds for the renovations in the 2016 fiscal year, but the Friends of Gilchrist Park Playground want to enhance the funds available to make this a truly spectacular playground for our local and visiting children. Funds for the project must be secured by the end of July.
A donor recognition mural, honoring sponsors, will be designed as part of this project. The mural will be created by a local artist and will face the new Harbor Walk alongside the park. To become a sponsor, go to https://www.youcaring.com/
