TEAM Adds New Board Directors

TEAM Punta Gorda has announced the addition of four new directors and two new student directors to its fourteen-member board of directors including:

• Darcy Hanley, retired school administrator, real estate broker, active in Punta Gorda Rotary Club.
• Craig Holt, Manager, Four Points Sheraton Punta Gorda. Member, Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce.
• Debra Hoyt, retired high school teacher, active in Punta Gorda Volunteer Police Patrol and other volunteer activities.
• Jake Dye, retired Army Colonel, active volunteer with Isles Yacht Club, PGI Canal Advisory Committee and PG Boater’s Alliance.
• Colin Wilburn, Charlotte High School Senior and Company Commander, Charlotte High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.
• Veronica Conant, Charlotte High School Junior and Operations Chief, Charlotte High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Existing board members include officers Sandy Dressler, President, Betsy Spagnolo, Vice-President, Marianne Lilly, Secretary, Ali Kahn, Treasurer/CFO and directors, Nancy Johnson, CEO, Tom Cavanaugh, James Coalwell, and Shelly Harris. Photos of directors can be seen here.

TEAM Punta Gorda is 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2004 in the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Charley.

TEAM volunteers operate several programs to help the greater Punta Gorda area be a great place to live, work, and play. Recent projects include, in cooperation with Punta Gorda in Bloom, the flowered planters in downtown Punta Gorda, the Free Loaner Bicycle program, community gardens, and water quality improvement efforts. TEAM is also assisting the city of Punta Gorda with the implementation of the citywide master plan.
